909,835. Beverage - brewing machines. MASCHINENFABRIK BREMEN G.m.b.H. Jan. 12, 1959, No. 1092/59. Class 129. A beverage-brewing machine comprises a hot liquid generator 1 with a laterally extending outlet 25 and a separate lateral member 5 which supports a vessel 2 and filter means, including a filter 20 for ground coffee or the like, which means is laterally displaceable out of alignment with the vessel 2 and has a tap or the like 19 through which the beverage is discharged. Vessel 2 comprises a cylinder 7 secured between packings 10 in rings 8 and 9 by external screws 11, ring 9 being secured by bolts 12, 13 to a half ring 6 carried on member 5. An outer ring 15 has projections 22, 23 respectively pivoting on bolt 12 and engaging bolt 13 and is screwed on to an inner ring which supports the flange 18 of a filter vessel 17 in which the sieve 20 is placed. Projection 22 may be ring or fork shaped. The pipe 25 feeds a sprinkling head 26 in the lid 24 of vessel 1. In operation, coffee is placed in filter 20 and filter attachment 3 is put in place by engaging projection 22 on bolt 12 and swinging the attachment round until projection 23 engages bolt 13, after which the inner ring 16 is rotated relatively to outer ring 15 until flange 18 engages packing 29 under ring 9.
