Abstract

A cleaning device for textile machines comprising at least one roller is constituted by a member rubbing on the roller and is characterized in that said member is provided at each end with non-cylindrical bearings freely engaging in notches of corresponding form in a support on the machine, in order to prevent rotation of the rubbing member. The rubbing member is free to move parallel to the axis of the roller and in a direction perpendicular thereto so that it can vibrate and it may take the form of a roller blade or wire or may be of triangular cross-section ; it may be smooth or comprise teeth and it can be made of a synthetic plastic or of metal or have a core of synthetic plastic covered with a metallic deposit or a metal tube. Suction mouthpieces may be associated with the cleaning device.
