[Also in Group XXVII] A fixed guard 32, Fig. 13, prevents a spring contact 25 from sticking to a pivoted armature contact 24 as the latter moves over from where it engages the contact 25 and a fixed contact 23 to where it engages a fixed contact 31. In Fig. 14, a finger 34 mounted via an insulator 33 on the contact 24 prevents the contact 25 from sticking to the contact 23 on the above movement. The members 32, 34 may be used together.
