Abstract
905,958. Wet felts of paper-making machines. KENYON & SON Ltd., JAMES. June 26, 1961 [March 24, 1960], No. 10393/60. Class 96. A wet felt of a paper-making machine has some or all of the weft yarns and/or some or all of the warp yarns of the kind known as bulked yarns. The warps may be of wool and/or staple synthetic fibres or of bulked synthetic material folded with continuous filament material or such filament material may form a core of a bulked synthetic yarn. The wefts may be bulked synthetic, or all wool, or wool and synthetic, or of spun, staple synthetic. The bulked yarns may be of spiral or other crimped types, e.g. made by a false twist system; or they may be of post-treated relaxed types. Synthetic materials may be polyamide, polyester, or polyolefine.
