905,581. Supply systems for space-discharge apparatus; converting. ALLMANNA SVENSKA ELEKTRISKA A.B. May 25, 1960 [May 26, 1959], No. 18417/60. Classes 38 (2) and 38 (4). The intermediate electrodes 4 of a gasfilled rectifying valve 1 together with the anode 2 and cathode 3 thereof are interconnected by means of a voltage divider 5 which comprises a number of capacitors 7 and resistors 8-11, the capacitors and resistors being connected into the divider alternately and the resistors each having a resistance value less than the value of the one preceding it, the resistor 8 having the largest value and the resistor 11 the smallest value. A further voltage divider 6 having equal value resistors is connected in parallel with the divider 5, interconnections between the two dividers being provided and the electrodes 4 being connected to tappings on the divider 6. The resistors 8-11 may be voltage dependent.
