A domestic sanitary unit comprises a bathtub 8, a wash-hand basin 9 and walls 2, 3, 4, 5-6 extending up to at least the level of the higher of the tops of the bath-tub 8 and basin 9, the tub 8, basin 9 and walls being integral with one another. In the form shown, the floor 1 is formed integral with the tub 8 and there is a water-closet basin 10 with its top below the level of the higher of the tops. The wall 5-6 has an opening 7 serving as an entrance for the user. The underneath face 11 of tub 8 is at a higher level than the underneath face of the floor 1. The unit may be of synthetic plastics materials.
