904,983. Filters. MOATTI, G. Feb. 21, 1961, No. 6322/61. Addition to 833,395. Class 46. The filter of the parent Specification is modified in the following respects:- :- the inlet and outlet passages 6, 10 are provided in the lid instead of in the base; the unit-retaining spring 23 is located in the base instead of in the lid; and the cooling gills 2 are vertical instead of horizontal. As before, on pressure rise due to clogging or to high viscosity of oil,. the unit moves bodily against spring pressure to by-pass unfiltered oil (from groove 7 to passage 10a).
