The invention relates to a bobbin holder comprising a gripper mounted on a movable support and having an open end which is capable of surrounding and gripping the end of a bobbin when the bobbin enters the gripper through the open end, means being provided for acting within the part of the gripper remote from its open end for forcibly ejecting the bobbin from the gripper, as described in Specification 902,972. Specifications 902,974 and 902,976 also are referred to.
