A stationery envelope of the kind having an unsealed flap complying for low postage rate, comprises a front part a, a rear part b formed by folding part of the sheet, an unsealed flap d formed from another part of the sheet, a narrow gummed side flap c, on the front part which is folded over one edge of the rear part b and a gummed sealable flap e formed on the front part a and arranged to be folded over the opposite edge of the rear part b.
