Abstract

1,274,010. Envelopes. R. A. WERBY. 30 Oct., 1969, No. 53135/69. Heading B6A. An envelope for packing lists comprises rear and front panels 11, 10 made of paper and polyethylene, respectively, and heat sealed together marginally to provide a pocket which is accessible through a transverse slit 16, disposed with rear panel medially of an area 15 free of pressure sensitive adhesvie, the remainder of the back panel being coated with pressure sensitive adhesive which is protected by a releasable panel 12. The panel 12 may also be provided with a slit 16 to facilitate peeling off the panel 12. In another embodiment the slit 16 may be replaced by an opening (23, Fig. 3) and in a further embodiment the area 15 may be offset transversely relative to the opening (23, Fig. 4). The uncoated area 15 provides a grip which facilitates extraction of the packing list.
