902,253. Concrete mixers. WOOLERTON, H.A.E.C. Jan. 13, 1961 [Jan. 16, 1960], No. 1670/60. Class 86. [Also in Group XXXII] A portable concrete mixer has a drum 20 which may be removed from the chassis 10 by undoing the nut 23, and replaced by a wheelbarrow body 26. The drum may be rotated by detachable radial handles 22; or a pulley 28 may be inserted between the base of the drum and its bearing, to enable the drum to be driven by a portable electric tool 38 through a reduction gear-box 31 and belt 36. The bearing comprises two nylon bushes having flanges 19. The drum and barrow body may be mounted on the chassis together for ease of transport and storage.
