Abstract

900,087. Mineral - mining equipment. GEWERKSCHAFT EISENHUTTE WESTFALIA. April 8, 1959 [April 21, 1958], No. 11887/59. Class 68 (1). In a mineral-mining plough system a plough 11 for undercutting a mineral face is guided along on the face side of a conveyer to form a kerf 14 into which the conveyer can be entered to receive mineral brought down by a plough 12 guided along on the goaf side of the conveyer to act on the upper part of the face. The ploughs may be interconnected by a plate 17 passing beneath the conveyer and may be moved along the conveyer by a common haulage. Alternately, the ploughs may be unconnected. The upper plough may also be drawn along a guide frame upstanding from the goaf side of the conveyer.
