Abstract

899,414. Reciprocating pumps. MUNCHNER MOTORZUBEHÍR G.m.b.H. Jan. 2, 1961 [March 9, 1960], No. 140/61. Class 102(1). A pump housing 1 is formed with recesses 1a each having a flat surface to which is secured a pump body 5; inlet and exhaust ducts 1s<SP>1</SP> and 1d<SP>1</SP> open into the surfaces 1a and connect with ducts 5s, 5d in the pump bodies. The junction between the ducts 1d<SP>1</SP>, 5d is sealed by a ring 15 and a further sealing ring 17 seals the duct junctions from the exterior of the pump. The ducts 1s<SP>1</SP> connect wtih a suction chamber 1s and the ducts 1d<SP>1</SP> with a delivery chamber 1d. Each pump body has a cylinder sleeve 7 retained by a screwed ring 9 and has inlet and outlet valves 6a, 6b, respectively. The piston 8 carries a roller 13 and a return spring supporting plate 11. The inlet and outlet connections 1s<SP>11</SP>, 1d<SP>11</SP> are arranged at the end of the pump; in a modification they are radially arranged.
