Abstract
A diene-containing gasoline blend of improved stability comprises an unstable dienecontaining gasoline or a fraction thereof which has been obtained by the thermal cracking of a hydrocarbon oil with a final boiling-point of not more than 250 DEG C., and a catalytically reformed gasoline or a fraction thereof. The thermal cracking process may be carried out in the presence of steam; the catalytic reformation process may use a platinium catalyst. The composition may also contain tetraethyl or tetramethyl lead.
