Abstract

899,075. Drawing curtains. HALL STAGE EQUIPMENT Ltd. Dec. 14, 1959 [Dec. 18, 1958], No. 40906/58. Class 52(5) Each pair of runners 13 of a stage &c. curtain is connected by a pair of links 18, 19 pivoted thereto and to each other to form an inverted V the apex of which is held down by a cam rail 21 except at the end towards which the curtain is drawn so that, as the curtain is drawn open, it can only bunch at that end. As shown in Fig. 2, each runner is suspended from spindle 12 on which are mounted end rollers 11 running on tracks 10 supported on the lower extremities of U-shaped members 16 depending from structure 17. A pair of links 18 and a pair of links 19 extend upwards from each spindle 12 and rollers 20 are mounted between the links at the apices of the Vs to run on cam rail 21.
