[Also in Group XXX] A hatch cover 14 is supported by four posts to which may be raised and lowered in guides 16 by jacks 17 the cover 14, which is of unitory construction, supports a loading and unloading crane 21 through beams 19 and 20. The beams 19 may be moved to a position in which the crane 21 overhangs the quay or is directly over the hatch opening. A cover may be provided on the beams 19 to afford weather protection for the crane 21 when extended.
