Abstract
Trichlorethylene is stabilized for use in degreasing metals by the incorporation of a stabilizing amount, suitably 0,0005-5% and preferably 0,2-0,3% by weight, of a primary aliphatic isocyanate, such as n-propyl, n-butyl, but especially ethyl isocyanate. Specification 884,823 is referred to.ALSO:Trichlorethylene is stabilized against metal-catalyzed decomposition by the incorporation of a stabilizing amount, suitably 0.0005%-5% and preferably 0.2%-3% by weight, of a primary aliphatic isocyanate, such as n-propyl, n-butyl, but especially ethyl isocyanate. Specification 884,823 is referred to.
