[Also in Group XL(b)] In a camera wherein the moving element 5 of a light meter controls the elements of an iris diaphragm (not shown), a cap 6 having an aperture in line with the axis of movement carries in the aperture an adjusting knob 9 on a spindle 14, which, when depressed against a spring 8, moves a disc 7 having teeth 7a into contact with a resilient arm 12 attached to a moving coil 5 which has a bent prism-shaped free end 13, whereby the element and the iris diaphragm may be locked in, or set to a desired position. A disc having a roughened border may be used in place of the serrated disc.
