Class 52(3) [Also in Group XX] A tiltable table for use in X-ray examinations &c. has a bed plate 1 carried by a frame 4 to which worm wheels 5 are rigidly secured carrying pivots 6 mounted in arms 7 mounted for swivelling movement about pivots 8 in the base structure 9, a second worm wheel 13 being connected to a cam 14 rotatable about an eccentric pivot 17 and supported on a roller 15, and a motor 10 rotates worms 11, 12 mounted on a common shaft to drive the worms 5, 13 so that the arms 7 are tilted and frame 4 rotates about pivot 6. Roller 15 is displaceable vertically to permit further adjustment.
