Abstract
893,639. Commutators for dynamo-electric machines. ROTAX Ltd. Aug. 4, 1960 [Aug. 25, 1959], No. 28998/59. Class 35. A commutator comprises a hub 1 with a keyed sleeve 3, having oppositely inclined truncated conical surfaces 2, 4 against which abut segments 6 held by rings 7, 8, the segments being insulated by mica 9. Tightening of nut 5 on hub 1 causes sleeve 3 to force segments outwardly against rings 7, 8.
