Abstract

893,636. Turnbuttons. SALAMANDRE METAL WORKS Ltd. July 7, 1958, No. 1141/57. Class 44. [Also in Group XXXVI] The cover 7 of cable trunking is secured to the trunking 1 by means of securing devices 30 each comprising a body portion formed with a shoulder 31 which seats against the cover, the remainder of the body portion passing through a hole 17 and being retained in position by a ring 32 held in place by a resilient metal blade 33 which fits into a transverse groove in the lower end of the body portion and is secured by a screw 35 which thereby also secures the device in the cover. The ends of the blade 33 may be cam or dome shaped to enable the blade to be more easily turned into position behind the flanges 5 and 6 to lock the cover on to the trunking. A slot or flat is provided on the head of the body portion for turning the securing device.
