891,645. Coal breakers. STAFFORD, R., and DAMRON, J. [Representative of DAMRON, K.]. Sept. 22, 1960 [Sept. 24, 1959], No. 32642/60. Class 59. A coal breaker comprises a screen 12 above which is supported a rotary shaft 22 on which is mounted a cylinder 28 having secured thereto, by welding 34, a plurality of longitudinal bars 32 each of which has secured thereto, by welding 38, a series of chains 36, the chains on each bar being offset with respect to those on adjacent bars. Alternative means are described for securing the chains to the bars.
