Class 112 [Also in Group XIV] A sewing machine table with L-shaped top and supporting legs 10, 11, 12 has an aperture 9 to receive the base-plate of a sewing machine. If the machine is foot-driven the table top has bearing arms 16, with cross-pieces 17, to support an iron frame for the foot-drive. In a modification, Fig. 4, for a machine having an exposed cloth arm, table top part 1 has an aperture 20 extending to side edge 8 of which part can be closed by a filling member 21 slidable in grooves 22 and a bearing plate 24 for the machine is secured below aperture 20 by brackets 23. In order that a flap on the cloth arm may be opened to change the reel the table top has a recess 26. Part 21 may be made in one piece with the table top part 1 and that part of the top disposed before aperture 20 made upwardly hingeable.
