888,538. Apparatus for producing a photograph. KENNETT, M. T., and TANNER, C. E., [trading as PRESGRIP SIGN CO.]. June 17, 1960 [June 22, 1959], No. 21300/59. Classes 97(1) and 98(1). A method of producing a photograph of an object comprises mounting a mirror 8 in front of the lens 16 of a camera 6, said mirror having a cross line the point of intersection of which lies on the axis of the lens, positioning a mask 10 having cross lines and an aperture 13 at the centre thereof on a transparent support 5 and viewing the mirror via this support and the aperture 13 and adjusting the mask until the images of the cross lines coincide. A reference mark can then be made on the screen and the object placed on the screen or the desired position relative to said mark and photographed. A series of concentric circles marked on the back of the mirror aids the correct positioning of the mirror relative to the camera lens.
