Abstract

PURPOSE:To make possible the synthesis of images by the combination of arbitrary magnifications with simple operations by projecting the images to be synthesized by using a removable positioning gauge in the desired position of screen from and photographing these projected images. CONSTITUTION:At the time of separately forming the projected images of two kinds of originals A and B of different enlargement magnifications, the original A is set to an original platen 1 and is projected to the screen glass 4, thence the enlargement magnification is adjusted. At the same time, the original platen 1 is so moved that the projected image is formed in the desired position by a positioning gauge and is fixed by determining layout. Next, the gauge 5 is removed and the projected image is photographed on a film 7 by a camera having a lens 6. Thence, the original A is removed and the original B is photographed in the similar process, whereby the images are synthesized. If the two lens systems 3, 10 and half mirror 11 are utilized, the projected images may be formed simultaneously. In this way, the images may be synthesized through simple operation.
