Abstract

A therapeutic composition for regulation of the metabolism of water in living creatures comprises tectochrysine (5-hydroxy-7-methoxy-flavone) and a therapeutically inert solid vehicle. The composition may be administered orally in the form of tablets or capsules employing adjuvants such as starch, magnesium stearate or lactose. Gum arabic solutions of tectochryrine are also described.
