Abstract

886,904. Photographic twin-lens cameras. HEIDECKE, R., and FRANKE, H., [trading as FRANKE & HEIDECKE, FABRIK PHOTOGR. PRAZISIOUS - APPARATE.]. May 8, 1958 [July 11, 1957], No. 14754/58. Class 98(1). In a reflex finder twin-lens camera, a parallax compensation slide operated from the lens board is disposed beneath the removable, e.g. laterally removable, or upwardly hingeable ground glass screen and is guided so as to be movable parallel to the screen, the slide and picture field-defining masks being provided with interengageable connections. As shown, the ground glass screen 4 in a frame 5 is supported by springs 6 on a carrier 3 hinged at 2 to the camera body 1 against which it is held by the engagement of catches 7 in slots 8, the hinges being resilient in the plane of the screen by the hinge pin being carried by the head of a pin outwardly displaceable in said plane against a spring. A picture masking frame 12 of the maximum format employed is displaceable in guideways 13 through linkage 10, 11 connection to the camera lens board 9. Masks as 15 of different format are located on the frame 12 by pins 14 engaging holes 16 in the mask.
