Class 75(4) A vehicle lamp comprises a base 1, a socket for an electric light bulb fitted to the base and a cover 6 fixed to the base for enclosing the socket and bulb, the cover being adapted to transmit light through both side walls, the top wall and one end wall. The cover has an opaque portion 7 at one end. Projection 10 in the base mount a reflector 9. The cover screws on to the base and the base screws on to a supporting surface. The base may comprise rubber or other flexible material. The top, one end and both side walls may be plane surfaces. A car may mount two lamps on each side one to the front and one to the rear with the opaque portion facing the rear.
