Abstract

885,854. Television. ELECTRIC & MUSICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. April 10, 1958 [April 15, 1957], No. 12179/57. Class 40(3). The scanning light produced by a fiying- spot scanner tube 1 is directed on to a first film transport head 2 in an opaque mirror 4 which, when the end of the film in head 2 has been reached, is removed from the light, path of tube I (e.g. by means of a solenoid) so that light from the latter is then directed on to a second film transport head 3 via a fixed mirror 5.
