[Also in Group XIII] A releasable connection, for example, for mounting a cover-plate 13 on the front face 11 of a refrigerator cabinet, comprises interengageable male and female elements 19, 20, respectively, mounted on the front face 11 and the plate 13, the male element 19 being resilient, e.g. of nylon or polyamide material, and having a circular external configuration and the female element 20 comprising spaced ribs 26, 27 oppositely disposed and spaced apart a distance which is less than the diameter of the outer surface of the male element, the elements 19, 20 being so formed as to enable opposite parts of the male element 19 to be pressed towards each other on interengagement of the elements and other parts of the male element to be pressed radially outwardly. The refrigerator cabinet is built into a wall or cupboard 10 and a cooljng-air duct extends from a lower intake (not shown), below the cabinet along the rear side thereof and then along the top 17 of the cabinet to an upper outlet 18, the cover-plate 13. which has a grating 15, covering the upper outlet and a similar plate covering the lower intake. The male element 19 is of cup shape and is fastened to the front face 11 of the cabinet by a screw 21 and the ribs 26, 27 on the element 20, which is integral with the cover-plate 13, are so shaped as to press the cover-plate tightly against. the front face 11 of the refrigerator cabinet. The element 20 may be a separate part.
