[Also in Group XXV] A chain conveyer is made of wire links 1, each link having a loop 2 and a hook 4 so that a loop has to be turned through a right angle to be disengaged from a hook. An accidental break of the chain due to disengagement is therefore unlikely. The link may be of stamped metal.
