Class 39(1) [Also in Groups XL(b) and XL(c)] To compensate for undesired voltage pulses induced electrostatically on signal plate 1 of vidicon camera tube 2 from line deflection coils 4, 5, a voltage in phase opposition thereto is derived either from the centre-tapped secondary winding 6 of a transformer whose primary is in series with the deflection coils, or from an inductive loop on a moveable support and coupled to the deflection coils, Fig. 2 (not shown), and the derived voltage is fed to final anode 14 of the tube.
