883,902. Automatic fluid level control systems. ACOUSTICA ASSOCIATES Inc. Dec. 24, 1957 [May 1, 1957], No. 40025/57. Class 38 (4). [Also in Group XL (c)] In apparatus for maintaining fluid material level constant by using impedance change of an electroacoustic transducer a regenerative oscillator circuit includes transducer 66, Fig. 6, in valve 60 cathode -circuit in series with relay 68 used for control purposes as in Specification 883,904. Valve 60 is operated near saturation and the average anode current rises substantially when oscillation amplitude is low corresponding to ultrasonic transducer 66 vibration damped by the material presence. For remote operation the transducer is coupled to the circuit via transformer-matched coaxial cable. A transistor circuit may be used (see Group XL (c)). Specification 883,903 also is referred to.
