882,887. Stoppers. BRITISH VACUUM FLASK CO. Ltd., and HASSID M. A. April 9, 1958 [May 13, 1957], No. 15102/57. Class 125(3). A resilient stopper for vacuum flasks &c. has a body 1 having recesses 2, 3, a finger piece 4 and ribs 5 the lower recess 2 being so proportioned that a greater surface area is provided parallel to the stopper axis than normal thereto so that pressure within the container tends to force the stopper radially into contact. A raised pad 7 is provided with a channel S to protect ladies' finger nails from damage when pushing in the stopper.
