Abstract

1350744 Actuator caps for dispensing containers AEROSOL INVENTIONS & DEVELOPMENT SA 26 Feb 1973 [10 April 1972] 9260/73 Headings F1A and F1R An actuator cap for a pressurized or pump type dispenser comprises a notch giving access to the actuator button 18 and a guard piece 50, hinged at one end to the cap and provided at the other end with a clasp 56, normally overlying the notch but which may be hinged away as shown to allow finger access to the button. As shown the clasp 56 is engageable in a resilient shouldered recess 58. In another embodiment Fig. 7 (not shown) a lug on the guard piece engages in a recess in the end wall 42.
