[Also in Group XIII] The closure member 7 of a washing machine incorporates a motor-driven fan 16 and an electric heater 18 and may be used when suitably mounted on an adjustable tripod base as a space heater. The closure has air discharge slots or louvres 8 around its edge and the fan and heater housing 10, 12 has safety guards 17, 19 the latter incorporating an air baffle 20. The housing part 12 may be domed to enclose the fan motor.
