A device for manoeuvring a motor vehicle comprises a cam sector 10 mounted upon a shaft 8 rotatable in a frame 1, 101 attached to the vehicle by brackets 2, 102. The shaft 8 is rotated by an electric motor 3 'through gears 4, 5, 6 and 7. While the weight of the car is taken by the cam the road springs are prevented from extending by engagement of a second cam 9, of smaller radius and greater circumferential extension, with a roller 11 attached to the rear axle casing.
