878,735. Veterinary appliances. BAINES, C. E. K. July 27, 1959, No. 25629/59. Class 81 (2). An appliance for use in assisting the delivery of lambs comprises a tubular member A with a forked end A<SP>1</SP> and with a cord B looped through the limbs of the forked end with its free ends taken through the member A and preferably brought out through an opening A<SP>111</SP> towards the lower end. The tube is made of semirigid plastic material and is inserted into the uterus so that the loop can be drawn tight around the head and feet of the lamb by pulling on the free ends of the cord.
