[Also in Group XXXII] The front axle of a tractor comprises a frame member 1 mounted upon a trunnion 11 and carrying half-axles 2 and 3 attached thereto by bolts 5 passed through selected holes of sets 3 and 4 according to the required track spacing, the wheels being mounted upon hubs 8 and 9 fitted to the king pin carriers b and 7. The axes of the trunnion and half axles are spaced apart so that the member 1 may be rotated about the trunnion through 180 degrees, Figs. 1, 2 so as to suit wheels of differ, ing diameters.
