Class 23 A separator for paper pulp comprises an inlet chamber 2 having a tangential inlet 1, a separating chamber 7 containing a rotor 5, and an outlet 8 for purified pulp. Impurities are collected in a chamber 14 having a window 15. The material flowing to the chamber 14 may 'be viewed through a window 11 placed opposite a light 12. Dimensions of the separator are given.
