Abstract

875,952. Agricultural implements. MASSEY-FERGUSON (UNITED KINGDOM) Ltd. May 11, 1959 [Feb. 19, 1958], No. 5325/58. Class 6(1). A harrow comprises a number of units pivoted together about longitudinal axes each unit comprising harrow tines 25 mounted on a frame including side members 17, 18, the member 17 being provided with brackets 30, 35 to which pins 31, 36, are attached, the member 18 being provided with brackets having holes to receive the pins of an adjacent frame. The brackets are used to attach skids 34 which project below the frame. Each unit is pivotally attached to a tool bar 13 arranged to be connected to a tractor linkage. The tines may be adjusted by means of a handle 59, a link 58 being connected to levers on the tine shafts 20, 21, 22. To enable the implement to be lifted by the tractor power lift tie bars 65 are connected to the shafts 21 and to posts 66 on the tool bar 13.
