873,965. Anchor-nuts. TINNERMAN, G. A. Sept. 27,1958, No. 30932/58. Class 89(1). An anchor-nut comprises a nut body 4, Fig. 1, with wire clips 12 secured in grooves 9 in the upper face of the body, e.g. by welding or staking. In a modification, the grooves are formed either in the bottom or opposite side faces of the body. The nut is clipped over the edge of a plate &c. and may be located by a co-axial boss on the body bottom face engaging a counterbore in the plate &c., or by turned-up portions, e.g, 19, Fig. 10, of one or other clip.
