Abstract

A herbicidal composition comprises a mixture of alpha - (4 - chloro - 2 - methylphenoxy) propionic acid and 2-methyl-4-chlorophenoxyacetic acid and/or 2 : 4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid in association with a diluent or carrier. The term "acid" includes derivatives, e.g. salts, esters, amides, &c. The diluent or carrier may be a dispersing agent and a water-miscible organic solvent, an emulsifying agent and a water-immiscible organic solvent, the dispersing agent and a solid pulverulent diluent, water, and solid pulverulent diluent or a wetting-agent so that the composition may be in the form of dispersable solutions, miscible oils, dispersable powders, dust or aqueous solutions. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 820,180.
