Abstract

872,590. Portable railways. RAPID METAL DEVELOPMENTS Ltd. Aug. 22, 1957 [May 22, 1956], No. 15714/56. Class 104 (2). [Also in Group X] A road form having a vertical moulding face 5 and a base 6 and a rail 8 for a vehicle for building material, has vertical ends 18 for connecting adjacent forms. Thus connection is made by two wedges 19, 20, Fig. 3, driven through slots in the ends 18 and abutting the bases 6 and rail 8 respectively. The form is fixed by ground stakes in holes 14 in chairs 7 secured by wedges 16. The rail 8 is welded to the top of the chairs 7, which are of channelsection, and the ends 18. In a modification the two wedges 19, 20 are formed as a singleforked member.
