871,986. Bridge circuits; impedance measurements. PHILIPS ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. April 27, 1960 [April 30, 1959], No. 14779/60. Class 37. In an impedancemeasuring bridge, two rectifiers D1, D2 are connected in series across the output diagonal AB of the bridge, and a branch including a detector G is connected at one end between rectifiers D1, D2' and at the other end to one input terminal of the bridge so that detector G indicates the sense of the correction to one of branches R1, R2, Z, Zx which is necessary to obtain balance. Detector G is preferably connected to a tapping E on a potentiometer P so that initial differences in the rectifier characteristics may be compensated.
