Abstract
PURPOSE:To make realizable highly accurate temperature compensation by a method wherein a bridge circuit is driven by constant-current and the temperature of the element in a semiconductor strain gauge is directly detected. CONSTITUTION:A bridge circuit 10 supplied with resistors R1-R4 as element in a semiconductor strain gauge is provided, and the circuit thus constructed makes available an electrical signal based on the variation of the resistance due to the strain of the elements in the semiconductor strain gauge from a pair of output terminals 01, 02. A constant-current supply 11 is connected to a pair of supply connecting terminals P1, P2 in the circuit 10 to drive the circuit 10 at nearly constant-current. In addition, the voltage between the terminals P1 and P2 is detected as the temperature of the elements in the semiconductor strain gauge. Based on the results detected, electrical signals outputted from the terminals 01, 02 are corrected at subtractor 27 and amplifier 28, so that the temperature compensation is carried out at the zero point or for the sensitivity of the circuit 10.
