Class 14 In a strapless brassiere comprising a frame of bone, synthetic plastic, aluminium, magnesium &c. in the form of U-shaped members 11, 12 connected by spaced upper and lower members 24, 13 respectively, a pair of diagonal bands 25, 26 extend from the upper edges of the breast cups 15, 16 to intermediate points in the respective back bands 20, 21. The U-shaped members may be in inverted position, Figs. 4, 6, and connected by straight members 13, 24, or in normal position, Fig. 9, the connecting member 13 in this case consisting of a downwardly extending loop. The frame is covered with soft fabric and additional pads 17-19 may be provided. The diagonal bands are preferably elastic and are provided with spaced eyes for selective engagement with hooks 28 on the cups.
