869,789. Magnetic record apparatus. ATVIDABERGS INDUSTRIER A.B. Feb. 1, 1960 [Feb. 3, 1959], No. 3467/60. Class 40 (2). Apparatus for recording on or reproducing from a magnetic sheet or tape-shaped record medium comprises a multi-head transducer 1 having slots 4 between each recording surface 5, and a record support member 3 having end guiding members 8 for a wide tape 2 and ribs 9 coinciding with slots 4 serving to cause the tape to flex slightly into the recesses 11 so formed. A circular sheet could be used by omitting one of the guide members 8.
