Abstract
869,253. Rotary rack-stands. SMITH, A. J., and GILBERD, S. J. Aug. 30, 1957 [June 1, 1956], No. 17080/56. Class 52(3). [Also in Group XVIII] A display stand for rolls of fabric 6 mounted on spindles 5 comprises upper and lower platforms 3, 4 which are mounted on a spindle 2 and provided with holes 18, 23 for releasably receiving said spindles 5. In a modification, Figs. 1-3 (not shown) the upper platform is provided with a series of spring clips for engaging the spindles 5. The stands may be mounted in a frame 24. Fig. 16 which normally rests on its lower arms 26 but may be bolted to a wall by its bars 27. A series of said frames may be bolted together or a series of said stands journalled in a wall fitting, see Figs. 11 and 12 (not shown).
