878,543. Drying apparatus; drying closets. CREWS, P. E. M. Nov. 17, 1959 [Nov. 19, 1958], No. 38972/59. Classes 34(1) and 34(2) A freshly laundered article 22 is dried in an upright position between a pair of open work frames 10 which are held apart by means such as clothes-peg type spacers 20 and are suspended from suitable supports by hooks 18. A hood may be provided above, and a drip-tray beneath, the frames and various spacers are described in the Specification with reference to Figs. 3a to Figs 3d (not shown). The frames may be supported on a stand including a drip-tray. Skins may also be dried hetween the frames.
